Privacy

Ouro is built so your finances stay yours. Your data lives on your iPhone and syncs only through your own iCloud account. We never see it.

What we collect

Nothing. Ouro has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers that we operate. We do not collect, receive, store, or have any way to access your data. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs in the app.

Where your data lives

• Everything you enter — properties, tenants, payments, expenses, receipts, documents — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database.
• If you are signed into iCloud, your data syncs privately across your own Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit private database. It is tied to your Apple ID and is not visible to us or to anyone else.
• This sync is between you and Apple. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Camera and photos

If you attach a receipt, the app uses your camera or photo library only to capture that image. The photo is stored with the expense on your device and your iCloud — nowhere else. Access is requested at the moment you use it and never runs in the background.

Notifications

Reminders about payments and expiring contracts are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. There is no push server and no message ever leaves your iPhone to create them.

Your data is never locked in

You can export your income and expenses as PDF or CSV at any time. Delete the app and your local data goes with it; remove it from iCloud in Settings to clear the synced copy.

Children

Ouro is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new effective date.
